Getting Started - Connecting to Another Computer
I want to access a remote computer:
1. Launch CrossLoop: After installing, you can open CrossLoop by clicking the desktop icon or from the Start menu. The CrossLoop application icon looks like:
![]()
2. Enter Access Code: Make sure that the friend’s PC you wish to access has the CrossLoop Application open (if not, he/she can open as you did above). The CrossLoop application (see below) has two tabs – an Access tab and a Share tab.
Ask your friend to click on the Share Tab in his/her application to get the 12 digit Access Code. Get that Access Code from your friend. Now, click on the Access Tab in your CrossLoop application and enter that 12 digit code your friend gave in the Access Code text box.

3. Get Connected: Now both of you need to click "Connect". Your session will begin momentarily.

Select the "Disconnect" button in the lower right hand corner of the application to end the session at any time.
I want to allow someone to access my computer
You can also allow your friend to temporarily access your computer. Here are the steps to do so:
1. Launch CrossLoop: You and your friend can follow the same instructions as above.
2. Give your Access Code: Click on the Share Tab of your CrossLoop application to get the 12 digit Access Code. Now, convey this code to your friend and ask him/her to enter it in the Access Tab of their CrossLoop application.

3. Select Connect: Both of you should now click “Connect”.

4. Allow the Connection: Click the "Yes" button to allow your friend temporary access to your PC. Your session should begin momentarily.

Select the "Disconnect" button in the lower right hand corner of the application to end the session at any time.
